A color palette has many different colors, all of them have different unique characteristics, symbolic meanings and associations. All different, all unique and yet they come together to make one art work. That is also how I look at the world and our society. Everybody is different, everyone has their own unique story, and yet all together we form a society.

I feel the urge to give light to other perspectives. I aim to make complex structures more visible and approachable. My work is about contemporary topics of societal, environmental, individual and worldly issues. The world is constantly changing. We need to keep on reflecting on that so that we don't blindfolded go along with those changes. People can think for themselves, they only need sometimes a little help to open their eyes for new or other perspectives.

Just as the color palette carries many different colors, I carry different interests with me. I’d like to explore the results of combining mediums, such as drawing, video, creative writing and performance art. Because of my broad interests, my hunger for knowledge and my thirst for creating, I combine Arts and Culture studies at the Erasmus University and Transformation Design at the Willem de Koning Academy as a RASL student in Rotterdam.
